Why cant I see your face?

Hear your voice? Feel your touch? 

Why did you leave me? 

All alone

With a head crammed full of emotion 

A heart torn into shreds

Eyes that cannot cry anymore

Why did it happen?

It was always going to, but why now?

Why did you take the hand of that stranger called death?

It led you away, took you away into another place

But you will always remain in this place,

in my head and heart

Until the memories fade ......
