"You’re Hired" is probably something this candidate is very used to hearing being in recruitment, but will she be hearing those two magical words leave Sir Alans mouth at the end of this 12 week period?

Meet Scarlett Allen-Horton, the one with the eyebrows!

Did you know that eyebrows are the ultimate truth tellers. Not only do they play a vital role every day in makeup routines, but they also do a pretty good job at spelling out a person’s body language – loud and clear (wonder what Iasha would say?). They tell others a story – is the person confident? Powerful? Unsure? The goal of perfect eyebrows is to have people notice the eyes and the person not their eyebrows (Hope she has brought her tweezers along for the ride!).

With long stints in recruitment working for various companies totting up 10 years’ plus worth of experience and knowledge, she launched her own recruitment company in 2018 where a client satisfaction record currently boasts 100%.  It’s a recruitment company whose strapline for business guarantees to bring a perfect fit first time but not without a sizeable fee which in a world of endless recruitment possibilities and often cheaper options has lots of competition.  Therefore, being competitive should just be another day in the office for Scarlett.

As a high performer in every workplace she has been in she puts her success down to her upbeat personality, having a headstrong attitude and most excellent problem-solving skills.  The latter will be tested to its limits when competing with 15 other candidates in the quest to win 250k and become the business partner of Sir Sugar.

She claims to try to be superwoman as well as a businesswoman – let’s hope she’s mastered the art of telepathy as that will come in handy in this quickly elimination process week by week and if she can fly well that’s one less cost for Sir Alan in any tasks that involve travel.  However, had she set the bar at being Wonder Woman with a lasso of truth she may be in a better position!

Interestingly in this world of social media she only created an Instagram account just ahead of her appearance on the show but as expected didn’t waste any time placing lots of images of her!

She doesn’t suffer fools easily and can take big characters and her mantra is to work the hardest and be the best!  She admits she is the only one to laugh at her own jokes and from the one she told on her audition tape you can see why!
