WEEK 6 TIME TO STEP UP

DONT GET A NOSE BLEED!

WEEK 5 MAYBE ITS BECAUSE IM A LONDONER!

OBVIOUSLY!

WEEK 4 TAKING THE QUIET ROUTE!

CRUISING!

WEEK 3

All doom with a boom!

WEEK 3 - TOO MUCH BOOM IN THE ROOM

Another unbelievable uninspiring unprepared, speech, with no research, no facts, no figures no sense made by Dean;

“As a toy we wanted to make sure it was very on trend and we recognise the slime market is a booming market from a business perspective, as well, really on trend and it’s something which is sort of booming and as a company something which is on trend basically….” OMG someone cover him in slime, or perhaps Sparkle Star will fly into his mouth and shut him up!  “Yeah thought I would play the video to you so you get better insight to it” Anything, do anything but stop talking!

Enough said!

It was only down to Iasha winging it that this team sold 2000 units and became the winners (a word used loosely where this example is concerned!).

Will Week 4 be the week Dean either contributes in a positive and professional manner or will it be the week he is the one fired?

WEEK 2

DOESNT ADD UP!

WEEK 2 UNCALCULATED & UNPROFESSIONAL

No lessons learnt for Dean not to be the big I am, as the first chance he gets to be the big I am again he snatches with both hands making his colleagues feel like spare parts - but this is what happens when you give the wrong person the wrong role which then had a lasting negative impact throughout week 2's task!

Keena feeling confident he knew Deans skill set made him Sub Team Leader and it was the sub team who were responsible for meeting the corporate client to agree how many ice lollies she wanted along with the price and to come away with the knowedge and understanding of what they needed to do to make her product bespoke and meet the needs of her business.

On the journey to the client Dean allocates different parts of the upcoming pitch to both Souleyman and Ryan Mark only to take them away just as quick after making an excutive decision to go solo and do everything himself.  A bold move!  One and only one normallly  executed successfully by experienced individuals who know exactly what to do to get the best from the situation and client.  Instead we get to witness Dean and his inexperienced and at times embarrassing approach leaving us all hot under the collar predicting what the outcome would be!

When it came to figures one had to wonder how Dean has managed to launch and keep his business afloat!  75 lollies were confirmed for £3.30. But seeing an opportunity to gain a larger order Dean suggest doing 150 at £3.85 per lolly. Really, Really Dean - Awkward! He then offers her the same price for 90 as he suggested if she took 150 lollies.  The client who must have wanted to get as far away as possible and run to the hills from both the meeting and such an unprofessional chancer agrees bringing the whole sorry state to an end.

But none of the important basic details were discussed which again made Dean look worse than the finished product he had helped to produce.  At every opportunity he tried to remove his contribution further and further away from having any responsibilty deflecting decisions onto others and omitting responsibility.

Ryan Mark accused him of being one big u turn, Souleyman accused him of making both him and Ryan Mark silent partners, Riyonn accused him of just bringing back a flavour with disappearing glitter instead of a bespoked product, Thomas accused him of not arranging the delivery time with the client and even Keena realised the dynamics of the sub group werent right - but it was too late - maybe he didnt know Deans skill set as well as he thought.

Needless to say Dean found himself once again in the boardroom with Keena and Riyonn and it was only as Keena had bigged himself up even more than Dean that he was the one to get fired!  Perhaps Dean will learn this additional lesson and by his mistakes?

WEEK 1

SELL ALL 16!

WEEK 1 - SELL AT THE FIRST HURDLE!

Wanting to be one of the lads whilst not wanting to be outdone by the likes of big character Thomas whose Del Boy attitude of 'who dares wins makes' everything seem possible meet Rodney! Sorry I meant Dean!

‘Note to self’ Dean, selling 16 tickets is more difficult than you thought!  Like his colleagues he too had the sell it high and big up the content of what could be expected to be seen in the 10.2 thousand hectares and the 2 hour window to make it sound like the opportunity of a lifetime & fill all the seats on the safari bus!

"You will see lions, tigers, elephants, rhinos, hippos ……", it was like the animal generation game – good game good game!

Needless to say only 12 tickets were sold and when the boys lost the task by £44.00 being a sales task Lewis chose Dean as one of the people to bring back into the boardroom along with Shahid whilst letting Thomas off the hook being he had sold the most & yet Dean still thought it appropriate to voice Lewis had made a bad decision by bringing him back.

Dean having only sold 3 tickets decided in the boardroom as Shahid sold none if he just banged on and bitched enough about this aspect repeating himself and over speaking bith Lewis & Shahid that this would be his saving grace.  Along with Shahid taking the same approach, it quickly became mayhem and white noise as Lewis’s buttons were pressed making him lose his temper and show another side, one Lord Sugar didn’t like!  Even though Lewis got a telling off from Lord Sugar Dean didn’t go away unscathed and he was made to feel stupid for going into the tasks the big I am!

He was lucky not to be the first to go as he didnt bring anything to the party apart from the 3 tickets!

Is this candidate out of his depth and full of bullsh**?  Only time will tell!

BE PREPARED TO BE BOWLED OVER........

Dean Ahmad

ABILITY TO PITCH? OR ALL OUT?

So, Lord Sugar according to Dean he’s coming for your cash!  Let’s hope he doesn’t need as many attempts as it took him to complete his audition VT!

What has this rosy cheeked loud alpha 20-year-old male got to bring to the boardroom as just the gift of the gab can’t be relied on and sometimes proves to be a gift that keeps giving for the wrong reasons!  For the person on the receiving end it simply becomes boring, somewhat grating and more than often disappointing especially when unwrapped there is nothing but a large portion of bullshit!

However, following in the footsteps of alpha males throughout history; Achilles, William Wallace and Napoleon as just a few examples, will Dean see opportunities where others see failure.  Will he be the last man standing and be the tortoise not the hare?  Will it be a turtle disaster or will he be shellebrating at the end of his journey?

Still why wouldn’t that be the case? He is the Harry Potter of persuasion and in his own words he can persuade others to do anything, persuade anyone to buy anything (watch out for the selling tasks as I am sure Dean will leave us all speechless after putting into practice what he preaches!) – according to him, he is amazing. Rennervate!

So, what does this individual whose emotional intelligence is off the charts do?  As expected, he is a highly successful entrepreneur or why would he be appearing on this programme to partner up with Sir Sugar?

Owner of Fine Edge Cricket, a Sports Management Agency representing leading athletes which he founded at the tender age of 15.  Will he be in with a sporting chance or stumped at the first task?
